Swiss Cottage lies next to St John's Wood and just to the north of Regent's Park. This small community has some prestigious shops and businesses, which proudly put them on the map. Its restaurants, bars and clubs are all enjoyed by trendy north Londoners, who enjoy soaking up the lively atmosphere that this place offers. For more entertainment, there is the infamous Hampstead Theatre, which is well renowned for its performances and cinema.

There are usually a wide variety of houses and flats to rent in Swiss Cottage, but finding property for rent in Swiss Cottage can be quite competitive because it is a very desirable area.


Renting in Swiss Cottage will offers excellent transport links, mainly because it is a lively thoroughfare. West Hampstead

West Hampstead is separated from Hampstead only by the width of Finchley Road and, like its fashionable neighbour, it shares much of what Hampstead has to offer.


You would have to be a determined walker to stride all the way to Hampstead Heath, which is on the far side of Hampstead from West Hampstead (though it's only a very short car journey). West Hampstead has the superstores which Hampstead lacks, including a Waitrose, Habitat, Sainsburys, Homebase and the O2 entertainment centre.

Within walking distance, there is even one of London's oldest cricket grounds and alongside it - that rarity nowadays - grass tennis courts.

There's an eclectic mix of homes; grand houses and villas with gardens, mansion flats and modern apartments, in fact, something for everyone, in fact. Much of it was built in the late Victorian and Edwardian periods and many of the houses display splendid bay windows and pointed gables.


The area is exceptionally well-served for transport by the Jubilee and Metropolitan Underground lines, with stations at Swiss Cottage and Finchley Road, and by both the overland Thameslink and Silverlink metro network, with stations at West Hampstead, Finchley Road and Frognal.
